Implementation Team Actions

Office of General Counsel, Student Affairs and the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access are meeting weekly to discuss if current policies meet legal requirements with reference to areas such as hate speech and sexual harassment.
After reviewing applicable policies and procedures to ensure they meet the legal requirements and conform with ISU community expectations in reference to hate speech, it was determined the University’s current policies and procedures provide the appropriate protections, including access to filing a complaint and subsequent investigation.

Campus partners from the Office of General Counsel, Student Affairs and the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access are reviewed Title IX policy.
Continue to encourage the campus community to engage in the process and gain support.
